Pictures are not only worth a thousand words, but also the precious memories embedded into them. They memorialize a moment in time that will never happen again, but serve as a reminder of the exact feelings and emotions felt when the shutter went off. So, it is important to exist in photographs for yourself and for your family.
There will come a day, when your children will look for family photographs and photographs of you. What will they have? What will be left of the life and relationships you created? That is why I believe photos are so incredibly important. “Photography is the art of making memories tangible.” - Destin Sparks
By preserving your memories, your children and grandchildren will know about their past and develop a stronger sense of personal identity. Old family photographs remind you of the importance of honoring your heritage and keeping your history alive for future generations.
Pictures don’t make us, but they remind us of who we are, where we came from and where we’re going to be.
Thank you Lindsey for recognizing the true value of a photograph, and thank you for continually seeing value in my work. I'm incredibly #grateful to be included in just one of your family's traditions.
