I love, love, love my clients. As professionals, we’re told to keep our private lives separate from our work, but as the saying goes, it’s easier said than done. The last four years of my life have been extremely difficult, and I’d be lying if I said the void that was left behind hasn't affected my work. I know I probably shouldn't be sharing this, but I also value honesty and integrity. I may not be as efficient as I’ve been in the past, but my devotion to my clients has not changed.
Marika and Darrin, I can’t thank you both enough. You two have been so incredibly patient with me, and I am truly grateful. I’m also grateful to have had the opportunity to attend your wedding. Given the substantial amount of weddings I’ve had the pleasure of attending, I’ve never felt the overwhelming sense of love I felt the day you two tied the knot. From the officiant’s blessing, to the maid of honor’s speech, to the mother-son dance, it was a unbelievably emotional day. I’ll admit it, I definitely cried during that last dance. Not only are you two respected by your family and friends…, you’re loved, and that love is clearly visible in these photos. I hope that every time you look through these photographs, you remember the overwhelming sense of love that was present that day.
May you never steal, lie or cheat.
But if you must steal then steal away each others sorrows.
If you must lie, lie with each other all the nights of your lives.
And if you must cheat, please cheat death as long as you can, so that you may spend as much time together as possible.
